A gentle framework to keep our community safe, aligned, and full of heart.
Thank you for wanting to bring the Villagehood magic to your city. To keep our community safe and consistent everywhere, here are the simple guidelines our Hosts follow:
1. Host With Heart
- Create one simple meetup per month - a walk, a coffee, a pram stroll, or a playdate
- Make every mum feel warmly welcomed
- Lead with kindness, compassion and openness
2. Keep Everything Inside Villagehood
To protect mums' privacy and keep our community connected:
- All events are shared on the **Villagehood app**
- All communications stay inside the app
- No side groups, separate pages, or external lists
- This ensures mums don't get lost or confused - and everyone stays safe
3. Use Villagehood Branding
We'll provide you with:
- Templates
- Story tiles
- Event graphics
- A Host Kit
Using these keeps everything looking calm, soft and consistent across the world.
4. Keep Meetups Simple + Safe
- Villagehood gatherings are casual, unsupervised, parent-present meetups
- Hosts don't provide childcare, advice, or supervision
- If something feels unsafe, please let us know
- Just bring your warmth - we'll guide the rest
5. Represent the Villagehood Ethos

Villagehood is a soft place for mums - Hosts help us protect that essence.
6. Let Us Know If Life Gets Busy
Motherhood is full and unpredictable.
If you ever need to pause hosting - just message us.
We may also rotate Host roles in a city if needed to keep it active and thriving.
7. How We Keep Our Village Safe
To protect our brand and community:
- Villagehood owns all branding, templates, and event structures
- Hosts do not run Villagehood-style meetups outside the app
- Hosts don't represent Villagehood to media, councils or sponsors
- Hosts don't promote personal businesses at events unless approved
These boundaries keep Villagehood pure, warm and trustworthy everywhere.
